I’ve heard them before. They’re Russian I believe. They played a Chicago song called “25 or 6 to 4,” that was dead on. The guitar players solo was right on, he played it note for note the way Chicago’s guitar player Terry Kath played it. Kath was by far the best rock guitar player there was. Jimi Hendrix use to go see Chicago when they would play at the Whiskey-a-go-go in West Hollywood back in the day, and said, “I know I’m good, but this cat Terry Kath blows me away every time I hear him play.”
Been following these guys (and lady) on youtube for a while. Their Chicago and EW&F stuff is amazing. Their “Chicagovich” album is available on iTunes, and rocks.
Terry Kath was my guitar hero. Actually saw him and the rest of Chicago in 1971 or 1972 in Winston-Salem. I was in awe. Such a sad day when he passed. This cover group is so good they give me goosebumps and chills down my back. Would love to see the go on the road here in the USA.
These guys are addictive. My kid asked what I wanted for Christmas. I said Chicagovich by a Russian Chicago cover band.

Heckuva singer, too. No doubt could have had a very successful solo career.
I was pissed when I heard about Kath’s passing. What a stupid thing to do. That pretty much was the end of Chicago, it was the Peter Cetera show after that. I mean Cetera was one of the best rock bassists and I liked it when he sang songs not written by David Foster, but it wasn’t the Chicago of the early 70s.
Although I certainly didn’t agree with Chicago’s politics, this song was so awesome.

I’ve seen all their video’s. Vasily Akimov, the Kath lead singer seems to just attack the mic. These guys seem to have a blast on every song.
