Artie Lange had a $2 million per year salary when he worked on the Howard Stern show, and threw it all away. Wow. That comes to $40,000 per week, at 50 weeks per year.
That's just insane money.

The frustrating thing is — I’m a high school English teacher. I blame social media — thankfully on FlakeBook, I can edit my big goof ups. But its almost like I go into a sleep walk mode when I post things. Then when I read them back, I end up catching some of the most head-slapping mistakes.

But, that's just me. So many people these days have little to no concern about using proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation in written communication.
It's disheartening to watch the language devolve and coarsen as it's doing. I see it as a symptom of the broader unraveling of western culture.
