>>The Left has killed comedy, not weed.

(a) there are a hundred years worth of films to watch (going back to comedy from Keaton and Chaplin)
(b) there are still new non-theatrical (or niche theater) releases that can be streamed legally online for FREE via tubitv and kanopy.com; there is a lot of looney lib product in each, but not exclusively including in the documentary categories
(c) even without streaming if you attach a digital receiver to a tv, you can watch older movies (1940s-1990s) on channels like Movies! for free (with commercials)
(d) even youtube has complete movies from around the world

plenty of sources, plenty of options. Not everything old or new has CGI or gutter gags.

but the left hasn’t be very funny for a long time. Some comics would keep their politics in check and make broader remarks or be equal opportunity offenders attacking any President in office. And that goes back to the days of Nixon. I don’t see a lot of LBJ jokes with the same venom that Nixon faced on day one (or even as president elect).

That reminds me I was going to look up Boston Blackie movies. Love the radio plays.

...you can watch older movies (1940s-1990s) on channels like Movies! for free...and Movies! has a regular presentation slot reserved for Sunday mornings at 11:30 for the old Sherlock movies starring Basil Rathbone, one each week - now those are Sherlock films worth watching.....
