I have lived in NJ for 30 years now and I remember Booker when the Wall Street Journal was touting him, and he seemed like an OK guy at that time. And he did take on the NOTORIOUSLY corrupt Sharpe James (sp?) and defeat him on the second try. With a big assist from some Federal Prosecutors, iirc.
But somehow, in the past few years Booker has just turned into a huge jerk. And that is sad.
I would also say don’t judge his sexuality, but being gay, or even gay and in the closet, is not a this time a crime. Pedophilia is.

The NJ governor also covered up the rape of a woman in his administration.
