I get the feeling that sooner or later you are going to find the name Joe Manchin mixed-up in this grubby little scam.

How about the FDA suspending the sale of these drugs?

Yup. Dirty Pharma money flows through that guy’s veins. Yet he has the cojones to attack his opponents on these issues.

Color me shocked. Naw. Just kidding.
I haven’t even had so much as a flu shot. There is a reason for that.

Doesn’t all drug companies do this? Giveaways to docs in the form of money, trips, and other goodies? That is the information I received from multiple medical sources.

I have several times suspected doctors of offering prescriptions because of incentives rather than for medical reasons. When I have that concern, I always get a second opinion, and I almost always find that the second doctor does not recommend any prescription at all or recommends a much milder alternative. I also stop going to that doctor if I disagree with a recommendation and the second opinion backs up my conclusion. Note: I’m about 60 years old and not on any regular prescriptions at all.

My friend who recently retired as a pharmaceutical company exec says they do it all the time.
I do not take pharmaceutical drugs. My MD prescribes nutritional supplements for me. They can all do this if you ask them. Just look them up at WebMD. If they’re there, they can be prescribed. You still have to pay whatever the store charges for supplements, but they are deductible. Vision in my right eye, which was wrecked by an opthalmologist, has measurably improved since I started taking lutein and zeaxanthin.
Oregon State University does research on supplements at their Linus Pauling Institute.

link to look up your doctor and see what they’ve been paid by big pharma...there’s another site the lists exactly what the money was designated for (the cover up)
I couldn’t find that link (this link is accurate to 2016)

Not uncommon in various forms.
A doctor told me the practice could earn bonuses, if a certain target percent of their patients were vaccinated.

I am in the catering business and at one time (when I was starting out in the early 90s) you would not believe what I witnessed in the break rooms of doctors offices.
Its highly regulated now, but back in the day I saw a doctor demand broadway play tickets, and one doctor said he was remodeling his kitchen and his wife wanted an under mount flip down flatscreen tv back when that was new tech. The pharm rep didnt blink.
I guess Im guilty too. When they first started regulating the lunches, a few of my good customers would book phantom lunches where the would run their credit card for however much they needed and we would split it. They would take their half and take doctors to the golf course. The good old days.
