They are staging in order to fly over Foxboro stadium as the last notes of the National anthem wrap up. They communicate with a spotter in the stadium in order to co-ordinate precisely the timing. Attend Broncos games at Mile High in Denver and this is always a crowd pleaser. Typically at the beginning of the 4th quarter the pilots and some of the support people are introduced at the stadium.
