Exercise makes a huge difference when you get older otherwise the body really breaks down, making it hard to walk etc. But for someone to have cancer at that age is not good at all, that’s usually a sign the end is near. If she resigns and Trump nominates a conservative woman it’s going to be interesting to see all the men liberals pay to accuse her of sexual assault, they’ll probably talk flamboyant “She patted me on the assssss and now I need a two door entraaaance!”
You make an excellent point. If you are working out strongly (for your level) several times a week, you probably are not going to get cancer or dementia. Eventually you still might. My uncle had no dementia at 80 or 85, but by 90 he started to get it. He walked miles every day and swam many laps in the pool 3 seasons a year. It kept him going longer than most. He’s not doing well in his 90s though.
