Some clown in Gilette/P&G’s marketing division made the decision that the best way to find out what men want when choosing a razor blade was to farm out their advertising campaign to some radical feminist (whose name I’ve forgotten but whose work is well-know, and largely bizarre) - that idiot (or idiots plural if it was a committee decision) needs to be looking for a new job.

Which, if you are intent on boycotting should be the focus.
I dropped Gillette a while ago due to the insane prices on replacement cartridges. I now use a double-edged safety razor with blades that cost $10 for 100 (Derby).
I suspect the antics by Gillette will push a lot of men back into traditional shaving as that community tends to celebrate the art of shaving and masculinity.
I actually like the multi-blade, pivoting, vibrating Gilette razors. I think it's called Fusion Power®. I get a close shave, never cut myself, and the cartridges last for weeks. I read somewhere that drying the blades makes them last longer, so I always dry mine with the blow dryer. I always use Edge shaving gel.
I was just about to pick up a mega-pack of refills at Costco this weekend as I am down to my last cartridge. That's not gonna happen now. I am going to try a brand called Dorco that was recommended by a Freeper. They make a similar multi-blade vibrating system.
Back in the day I used a single-blade injector razor. Almost forgot about them. Thanks for jogging my memory!!!

Here's the issue: SJW executives are addicted to virtue signaling and when they do they never EVER admit that they made a mistake. They double down, they call the complaining customers names like racist, misgynist, you name it. The list is long of companies that resolve to just lose money rather than admit they made a mistake because that implies that their SJW values might be ... GASP! ... not considered perfect.
So Disney lets Star Wars circle the drain while calling the fans toxic for not liking it anymore, Dick's Sporting Goods closes stores rather than reverse course and blames the customers, various video game companies see their profits tank after calling their customers racists troglodytes for not thinking that black female nazis in WW2 shooters make sense, etc.
My guess: we can collapse the profits from the Gillette product line and P&G will take the loss and keep it open just so they can stick it to those that don't share their SJW values.
Wilkinson Sword, double edge blades for me. I use them with a Merkur safety razor. I lather my own cream from shaving soap, using a badger brush and ceramic bowl. But, I’m old school.
Let them earn their revenue selling shaving products to metrosexuals, soy-boys, she-men, trannies and other deviates.
I will never buy another Gillette item.
I agree with everything you say, but Gillette will not be able to hide facts like sales being cut in half. This will send a message. Future corporate junkets might begin to feature speakers that warn against the impulse to preach to customers. This is how you begin to bend the arc of insanity.
Dollar shave club and bar soap work great for my shaving, then Mennen Afta to sooth the scalped face. No Gillette in my house. I recommend Dollar Shave Club advertise very simply: “Men welcomed. Join us.”

I’ve found some of the cheaper Dollar store brands work just as well.

I watched the commercial and it is a bad one, it wants to portray men as victims, instead of the important roles they play, like firemen and military.
