“Moon” was okay, but the pacing was just too slow, from what I remember.

Life of Pi is an excellent film, especially visually.

Strange Days is okay.

It would be easier to make a top 10 of the most overrated sci-fi movies.

“The E.T” would be my number 1.

Outland is one of the most realistic space flicks. Maybe very much how space life will be like.

“Knowing” is an under-rated modern Sci-fi movie with an original concept, suspenseful story line, and a great ending.

I think the 1953 version of The War of the Worlds was superb. It is recognized as classic and no way is it underrated.

Yes, the 2005 Spielberg version has better acting, better overall production values, and is closer to the source material, but that earlier version wins me over.

MOON

Absolutely, but do not watch the trailers. Why they put a spoiler in the trailer is beyond me.

It is a movie that requires a lot of attention and can be watched many times. Great soundtrack.

Slow middle act but otherwise well worth watching.

Saw it in college when it was released. Remake of “High Noon”, iirc. Besides Connery, only remember Peter Boyle.
