RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - The Metro Richmond Zoo recently welcomed seven new cheetah cubs.

Vaila, a second-time mother, gave birth to septuplets on Nov. 30.

The zoo says all seven cubs are doing great and growing fast at their cheetah breeding facility. They plan on moving the cubs into the zoo sometime in March and will make an announcement when they can be seen on exhibit.

"This is a very special birth to us because not only is it a big boost for cheetah conservation by increasing the captive population, but also a cheetah having 7 cubs at once only happens 1 percent of the time!" the zoo said.

I’m worried about them. Cheetahs never prosper.

LOL!

Too be overly literal, though, cheetahs are already a species with limited genetic diversity. Having seven future breeders with the same parents isn’t going to help with that.

Every human birth in the state of New York used to be special too. Not no more. Would be great if we paid as much attention to human babies as we do to cuddly, cutey-poo critters.

Cheetahs rarely harm humans. When it happens it is because the human is being more than usually stupid.

I don't think there has ever been a case of a cheetah killing and eating a human.

Leopards are a whole different ball game.

Democracy killed the cheetah.

Notice that Democratic big cities have NO ANIMALS.
The animals that Democrats do not kill off are caged for a life of extinction.

Democrats hate the environment. They cannot control it.
