There are so many types of cancer. I don’t see how a single treatment could cure them all?
Is Jesus coming back? Even St. Jude’s which has the highest cure rate in the world can’t do that, even with all the strides they’ve made. But there is no guarantee a cancer won’t come back.
Joey Martin Feek (Female Duo of Joey & Rory Feek Country music) was told she was cured Twice, third time told we can’t even treat the third, all originated from the first.

I worked in this field as a researcher, and you assumption is correct. And this was something we noted in the lab. I need to read their research papers and contact some former colleagues.
From what I read of the article, you have to get cancer in order for this to work. Thus it is a “treatment”, not a cure. A “cure” prevents the expression of the condition, aka “inoculation”, aka “vaccine”.
Albeit an incredible development - i.e. it stands to reduce deaths by cancer, ironically much like technology behind treating cardiac disease - this research prevents nothing...prevention being the only true cure. And it doesn’t necessarily ensure that the cancer won’t return.
I smell $$...
