Tnis guy is the worst. Zero credibility.
>>Its funny how family pressure/expectations overcome independent thinking<<
Independent thinking is a rarity: Group thinking is commonplace. Therein lies the power of tyrants, and so it has always been.
As a no longer practicing Catholic, I agree. I was born in 1951, went to Catholic schools with Nuns and Christian Brothers.
>>All the Catholics I know here in TN (there arent many) are extremely pro-abortion. Many donate tons of money to the charity, Emilys List, and to Planned Parenthood. Creeps me out being around them an aura or something. They wont miss Mass on Sunday for any reason, yet are happy to help kill babies.<<
Truth be known these poor souls are not Catholics because the Church they profess to be members of is no longer the Catholic Church. That Church was infiltrated, undermined, and destroyed by the diseases unleashed by the Second Vatican Council(1962-1965).

Same here, Sisters of Notre Dame in grade school and Christian Brothers in High School. So you live in Laplata, went to St. John’s and graduated in ‘69?
No, I live in La Plata county in southwestern Colorado.
I went to St. Michaels in Santa Fe, NM. The Christian Brothers ran the school and boarding school. I was an altar boy at the oldest Catholic Church in the US, the San Miguel Mission. Only Latin Mass in those days.
My oldest brother graduated from Notre Dame in 1963. He’s very unhappy with what ND has become.
We certainly have a lot in common with our educations.
He is acting dumb so he can keep on the cocktail circuit. I remember his friend Hillary and he at the dinner where Trump and Melania were there also
. Creeps me out being around them an aura or something.

I know the same feeling. They are creepy.
do you find that they like the current Pope? I’d say they do.
I don’t know their feelings about the Pope as we never discuss religion or politics (they’re all Rats, too).
It must be hard to have a man at the top of the career ladder, and a distinct hierarchy, in a religion, especially if there are major theological differences.
I agree, it would be difficult.
I have a conservative Catholic friend who, like you, never discussed politics or religion with them but she has seen that most do like the current Pope.
For the life of me I can’t understand how Catholics (I was raised Catholic, now fallen away) can be part of the Democrat party.
Why hasn't the Catholic Church condemned him for it? Why has the Catholic Church sided with illegal immigration and the global warming hoax? Not your father's Oldsmobile ping.
