Cardinal Dolan: Why are Cuomo, Democrats alienating Catholics?
Its been a rough time for faithful Catholics recently in our state governments frantic rush for progressive ideas.
Im thinking first of the ghoulish radical abortion-expansion law, which allows for an abortion right up to the moment of birth; drops all charges against an abortionist who allows an aborted baby, who somehow survives the scissors, scalpel, saline and dismemberment, to die before his eyes; mandates that, to make an abortion more convenient and easy, a physician need not perform it; and might even be used to suppress the conscience rights of health care professionals not to assist in the grisly procedures. All this in a state that already had the most permissive abortion laws in the country.

Well Cardinal they have been doing it for a long time. Are just becoming aware of it?
A better question: Why isn’t Cardinal Dolan isolating (excommunicating) Cuomo?
And why does he keep using the lefts world of deception “progressive”?? They’re communists. Vicious, evil, freedom hating, mass murder supporting communists who should be nowhere near ANYTHING having to do with an elected office in this country.
Cardinal Dolan. Act. Don’t talk and whine. Act. Act like a Churchman who has confronted evil.
1. Because you stand by and let him.
2. Maybe he's not alienating Catholics at all -- since you have spent decades turning your church into an arm of the government he represents.
Hey, Mr. Dolan ... YOU have probably done more to alienate Catholics than Andrew Cuomo has:
I don’t think Cuomo alienates too many Catholics. I hope I am wrong.
Because the left plays the long game and destroying and marginalizing Christians is a major part of the plan.
States with the strongest pro-life political influence are those with the SMALLEST Catholic populations.
Here's the evidence, based on a Pew Research study from a few years ago. Catholics as a percentage of the overall population:
1. Rhode Island -- 42%
2. Massachusetts -- 34%
3. New Jersey -- 34%
4. New Mexico -- 34%
5. Connecticut -- 33%
6. New York -- 31%
7. California -- 28%
8. Illinois -- 28%
39. Kentucky -- 10%
40. South Carolina -- 10%
41. Georgia -- 9%
42. North Carolina -- 9%
43. Arkansas -- 8%
44. Oklahoma -- 8%
45. Alabama -- 7%
46. Tennessee -- 6%
47. West Virginia -- 6%
48. Utah -- 5%
49. Mississippi -- 4%
Notice a trend here, Mr. Dolan? I do.
The good news is that history will remember you very well. Andrew Cuomo will be remembered as a radical pro-abortion governor, and you will be remembered as the pro-abortion bishop who enabled him through his entire career.
If you want to outlaw abortion in this country, the first step is to outlaw Catholicism.
Dear Dolan,
Because you allow and encourage it and have done so your whole adult life.
That is horrible and very disturbing. Thank you.
Because most Catholics are going to continue to vote Democrat regardless.
You have power Cardinal Dolan.
Use it.
“Because most Catholics are going to continue to vote Democrat regardless”.
That’s right. I’d bet that in the next election Cuomo gets the same amount of Catholic votes.
Id bet that in the next election Cuomo gets the same amount of Catholic votes.
So make it happen!
Because most Catholics are going to continue to vote Democrat regardless.
Especially those raised by parents of WW II vintage who felt the Dems were not the beasts they are today.
Its funny how family pressure/expectations overcome “ independent thinking”
IMHO, they didn’t pass this ghoulish legislation specifically to alienate Catholics. Rather, they have so little regard for Christians in general that they used this as an opportunity to shove our faces into the mud. Dems believe they have no need for the vote of anyone actively practicing their religion (except radical Moslems). My concern is that they may be right in their calculations.
Over my (and your) dead body.
It is time for a nationally organized BOYCOTT of the State of NEW YORK. Hit tourism, especially in NYC. items purchased online in the entire state, and any other commerce transacted.
This is NOT just a Catholic issue, this is an evil law permeating our society and must be stopped.
