Jeff Bezos’ personal security team has launched an investigation into how his text messages ended up in The National Enquirer, and the inquiry is increasingly convinced that political motives are behind the disclosure.
The investigation is taking place independent of Amazon, and Bezos, the world’s richest man, is personally funding it. Investigators want to know who leaked the texts that publicly blew up Bezos’ marriage earlier this month by revealing, in lurid detail, his affair with Los Angeles news anchor Lauren Sanchez.
The leaked text messages contained flowery missives from Bezos such as “I want to smell you, I want to breathe you in. I want to hold you tight,” and “I love you, alive girl. I will show you with my body, and my lips and my eyes, very soon.”

1. One of the jilted spouses.
2. Coworker, employee or friend with access to phone if left unlocked.
3. NSA employee
4. Telephone company employee or text messaging app employee.
5. Law enforcement employee with access to cell monitoring devices.
6. Spy agencies from another country, etc.
7. Bezos or Sanchez
8. Some sort of hack
I figured Ms Sanchez leaked them.
It must be nice to have a "personal security team!"
Besides, it sounds like his affair was an open secret. IIRC, they were making out in a public, if expensive restaurant. His wife was not the last to know... they had separated. So, what he's really trying to find out is who enabled the Enquirer to know of and publicize the situation.

FWIW, I’m not convinced Bezos was cheating with Sanchez. I’m still wondering if she’s being paid to take the blame.
Possibly.......she knew she had a “live one” in billionaire Bezos.
