So now it is the opinion of Don Lemon, and CNN, and by extension, the main stream media, that black people should SHUN Old Glory, the Flag, and our National Anthem, and by default be opposed to them?
Is that how far down this shameful, insulting road the MSM will take Americans who happen to be Black? How many black men gave their lives for that flag, Don, so you can belittle it?

I saw her perform live this past summer and she was amazing. Still sounds amazing. Her performance last night was great. She shouldn’t have to defend it.
I listened to a Christmas album of hers during the most recent Christmas season. She and the Pips were reverently beautiful on the traditional carols. Where are the young people who are anything approaching their caliber?

Agreed. She is a treasure. Still a beautiful lady, and now we know she is a patriot. Class through and through. One of my all time favorite songs is Neither One of US (Wants to be the First to Say Goodbye). Awesome song!!!
Don Lemon is an idiot. Gladys has already had her career. She also became a Mormon and tours the country with a choir that sings at Mormon churches all over the continent. I don’t think she cares about future bookings (as if this would hurt her career to sing a National Anthem).
If anything, this will help her occasional Vegas appearances and, otherwise, won’t change her life at all. When I went to see her a few years ago, that woman still had some great pipes.
Miss Knight also has her own upscale chicken and waffles restaurant. I ate there once. A lot of memorabilia on the walls.
