Get a hosting service like Imgur and upload your photo files to them first.

Personally use an HTML for dealing with text plus images, which may be more than you want. If you think you like to learn to use one, which is pretty neat, FReep mail me once you have uploaded the pictures.

Sadly it is not an easy thing.... You have to find an image hosting website like PhotoBucket or Imgur or similar.

Then you have to enter the following into your profile page: (img src=http://the urlgiven to you by the hosting site.com) substiting the angle brackets<> for the parentheses.

It is kind of a hassle to do it that way, and all the different hosting sites have their own limitations and foibles.

If you want, PM me, and I'll give you my email address, and you can email the images to me, and I'll host them on my own server, and send you easy copy and paste links you can easily paste on your profile page.

Go to https://imgur.com/ and sign up for free web hosting of your photos. Then simply drag and drop or browse on your computer for the photos to upload. After they are uploaded, just click on the photo you want to share and look for the link that says HTML and click on the copy button. Then paste the link on your profile.

But I really would suggest you get a google pics account to back them up.

I want to transfer a couple of my old dogs’ pictures to my profile page ……… before it’s too late. But I need some help to do it.

The dogs lives have a certain feeling about me, and I’d like to leave them here for you to know me a bit.

Does anyone know how to tell a computer illiterate like me how to pass two dog (.jpg’s) to my profile page?

I’d like to let you all know who I am before it’s too late. The two poochies say nearly everything...... as animals generally do.

You can't just snag a favorite picture from a desktop folder...it has to be hosted someplace on line to be posted here.

Best bet is to save the image to an image hosting service, I use Photobucket. In Firefox right click and select "Copy image location", in Safari right click and select "Open image in new tab" and copy the address in the address bar. Other browsers have similar tricks.

This is a great offer here and the best option for just a couple pics. I was going to offer the same on my server but I am not completely sure I could keep them there permanently long term.

I would take #9 up on the offer. That way your photos stay private and don’t become google or photobucket property. And, you take care of yourself, hear? Your furkids will be knocking Gabriel aside to get to you soon enough, no need to hurry.
