Too High to Die is the eighth album by the Meat Puppets, released on January 25, 1994. This album sold very well due to the success of its single "Backwater", which reached #2 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The album itself also reached #1 on the Heatseekers chart, making it one of the Meat Puppets' most successful albums. The album's title is a parody of The Ramones' 1984 album Too Tough to Die.

Meat Puppets were a “heard of but never heard” group to me until now. They got a good sound, thanx for the musix!
We have one of their albums! I can’t remember which one, though. :)
Why are you posting Meat Puppets?
(My favorite was Tumbling Tumbleweds).
Saw them many times in 81/82
Might as well make this a “Monday Music” thread, heh.
