Talk about your memories...I found and grabbed a copy of the dancing baby gif a while back just for old times sake, the old 486 computer I had it on (windows 95) died long ago. I had a copy of this though, if I remember correctly it had no sound file, just the animated gif.
I remember looking around for things like that, it was just like he described, poke around and you found most of the best stuff by accident, you’d just stumble on it. And of course there were some pitfalls, like the day I found myself looking at a 5 second file that was beyond X rated, think girl and donkey...the filename gave me no hints...YIKES...that one got deleted pretty fast, I know how illegal that is...I don’t mind regular porn, but that’s out of my league...
Anyway I remember Hamster Dance too, and does anyone remember Joe Cartoon? Frog in a Blender is an old favorite... https://joecartoon.com/ Yeah I like the Far Side cartoons too...
I searched all over the place for the scattered Joe Cartoon files, nobody had them all in one place, 2 or 3 here, 2 or 3 there.
Ahhh, the good old days...19,200 connection at best, (before 56K modems even existed) 3 hours to download a 30 second video file...that wasn’t worth a flip and the size of a playing card at best...the filenames often didn’t match the actual content, sometimes very little in the way of a description, that’s how donkey girl happened...and I’d spend hours and hours till I was cross eyed doing it...
You should have used Pixelon technology...
IT also looks like Joe Cartoon now also has Trump in a Blender. Sad.
