Yes he will probably agree to a deal unless he’s stupid, and will do some years. If it was up to me I would jail him for 15 to 20 years. Like James Woods pointed out, if the cops bought his story and arrested two innocent white guys who were then prosecuted, convicted and sent away, this guy Jussie would have went right along with that and kept his mouth shut. That piece of garbage was intentionally trying to set up white Trump supporters and what if two innocent white guys were passing by in the wrong place at the wrong time when this happened? What got the Feds involved initially is they were investigating what they thought was a legitimate hate
crime..... hate mail Jussie had written and sent to himself at the studio.

When the hate mail failed to get him the attention Smollett thought it deserved, he staged the hoax.

Smollett knew the very words “racist” and “homophobic” have been sanctified and now possess a political power, true or not.....
to be lobbed at perceived enemy lines like artillery shells. In his small mind, Smollett is heroic. The "oppressor" is the one to blame.

Fake hate crimes are a routine practice on college campuses to justify various political demands. This means colleges are teaching people the logic justifying it and training activists who think faking crimes is moral because it furthers their social justice cause.

That explains most of the documented hundreds of fake hate crimes.
