After seeing that picture the first thought that came to mind was sea gulls and Canada geese....

If you look at the very beginning when they first jump on and before they take off, you can see a wheel. They cleverly tried to hide it by not showing the lower half of the vehicle until it was taking off, but it looks like a regular bike with Hollywood makeup on it, then the CGI takes over.......

They should also put some speakers on the autonomous version to increase the noise … and call it the screamin eagle. Announce it to the battlefield to create a diversion from the actual soldiers.

There was something that looked like a small wheel but the clip is too grainy for me to make it out (this was after they were flying).
In any case, those are jet bikes with skids. Even the cops chasing them with the machine gun.
