Letter to my BOSS

I have enjoyed working here these past several years. You have paid me very well and given me benefits beyond belief Have 3-4 months off per year and a pension plan that will pay my salary till the day I die and then pay my estate one year salary death bonus and then continue to pay my spouse my salary with increases until she or he dies, and a health plan that most people can only dream of having. Despite this, I plan to take the next 12-18 months to find a new position. During this time, I will show up for work when it is convenient for me. And in addition, I fully expect to draw my full salary and all the other perks associated with my current job Oh yes, if my search for this new job proves fruitless, I will be coming back with no loss in pay or status. Before you say anything, remember that you have no choice in this matter. I can, and I will do this.

Sincerely Every Senator or Congressman running for President in 2020

Are we stupid or what?

This is so true and it shows why we really need to enact term limits for all members of Congress!

... or at the very least require any congressman/senator resign their seat when seeking another elective office. TheY might be able to do this by rule rather than passing an ammendment.

....and then there are the three new females (cannot call them ladies) who we pay to inflict hate by showing NO love for anyone but their tiny circle. No respect for leadership (can hardly call Nancy a leader though).

It’s past time for America to cut back on all the welfare we’ve freely given and get back to hard work and you support yourself- no free lunches, etc. We are broke and we all need to feel what broke and broken are like. You rethink everything in your life and turn to GOD and His ways and things get good.

Pray today and attend a Bible based church! It’s the only truth that will set us free. Blessing sodpoodle and freepers.

Term limits are so needed. We are a country of what, over 500 million? There plenty of qualified people. We need business people in Congress, get rid of the lawyers and professional government types. Is this possible? Probably not but it is so desperately needed.

I would say any payment or continuation of insurance once they are out of office is unconstitutional. It’s an elected office not a career. If u want to stop career politicians, challenge the laws that make it a career. The basis would be using public funds for personal benefit.

Trump could stop unconstitutional activity via exec order. It’s the exec branch that writes the checks.

Bob Dole resigned his Senate seat to run for President in 1996, saying he wanted to devote “full time” to his candidacy and that Kansas needed someone else to represent them. Got him zero credit that I could detect at the time.

Remember: If we impose term limits (which I support) we have to make sure term limits apply to any and all of their staff employees. Otherwise they (the staff) will be in total control, and we won’t like that.

Congressmen should be unpaid and Congress should only meet for 60 days every other year with spcecial sessions being called for war declarations.

... and while it’s frequently the case that a Democrat will run for his congressional seat and the presidency simultaneously, which I can’t understand at all.

Wow! What a job that is! In my working days, most of the folks I associated with were looking for other work in order to find something that paid enough for a decent living, but this was done quietly because if knowledge of this leaked out to the wrong places it could mean you would then NECESSARILY need other work.

"We" cannot pass term limits. "We" can only work our asses off to get it in a legislative bill that would only fail to be passed by those who would be most affected by it.

Not all accurate information but we get the point. You should add:

“If i happen to get caught with my hand in the cookie jar and be convicted of multiple felonies i will go on federal disability and collect >$8,000 per month for the rest of my life.” (just like little Jesse Jackson Jr. did)

A few election cycles ago a local socialist congress-critter from Cleveland Ohio, (Dennis Kucinich) who decided to run for president. He then spent several weeks campaigning in...
