Sounds like a decision made by prosecutors who felt that while the evidence did not show Jussie committed a crime, it did not exonerate him either, and that there wasn’t sufficient proof to prosecute him.
Just making a point about prosecutorial discretion.
Still surrendered his bail and community service, sounds like plea deal?

The State’s atty said she was dropping the case because he would have only gotten community service anyway if convicted and he has already performed community service so there was no point in prosecuting him.

I just saw that Agrano, who has been indited along with Adventinati, is one of Smolett’s lawyers. I wonder if there is a link to that in the reason for dismissle. But then there is also the mayoral election in Chicago with 2 black lesbian’s competing against each other.
