... he suffered when a TheraBand exercise device slipped from his hand... claiming civil negligence and failure to warn the public the elastic physical resistance band was “unreasonably dangerous,” particularly for the elderly like him.

Is Reid claiming that the elderly aren't strong enough to keep the tension on a stretched rubber exercise band? How is that the product's fault?

Does Reid have arthritis? Is he just weaker at age 75 and too vain to accommodate a slower lifestyle?

Reid seems to be bright, but stupid. It’s possible he secured that metal plate directly to drywall with screws. Then, after repeated use, the drywall lost its grip on the screws and upon a load, the metal plate launched from the wall and propelled into Dingy’s moronic face.
