Love my old-school bow, looking to search a 3-dunam wood to find a nice Penoak or Creek Birch branch to begin work on a new longbow.
Doggone stores want too much for a simple shortbow and I make my own arrows for the same reason. All I need is sinew and I delight sitting and making my arrowheads while the bow cures in the smoke from the fat rub and hot water soak.
Once I’m recovered after this next procedure (2 weeks), it is my hope to do so. This pain is making me cross-eyed but I’ve still the hawkeye. ;-)
