I remember people going nuts when I questioned the measures taken by the gods in blue.

Yep[ - and one dude with “Texas” in his screen name was constantly telling us how all bikers were hoodlums and deserved to be strung up ...just ....because....I think he got scared by loud pipes when a child and never got over it....
