Five reasons why baseball is the best sport.
Was George Will involved in this story?
Just askin’...
I’m sure Never Trumper George would come up with some cute Poem about Comey at the Bat.
Nobody has ever answered this question satisfactorily.
Catches outside of the field of play are routinely ruled as outs. Why would you think otherwise?
I know you love your cowboys, but you also like the Yankees thought you might find this interesting
people still play baseball?
Now what if a right fielder leaped into the bullpen and made the catch while still airborne (before landing on the bullpen ground)? Would that be an out?
I believe HR because bull pen (in your example) is not in the field of play. If the player catching the ball reaches beyond the yellow home run line and lands in the playing field while still controlling the ball then it’s an out.
Yes.
Bullpen is irrelevant. Beyond the fence is HR, or catch, as the case may be.
Golf is the world’s best game IMHO, and if you don’t play you have NO IDEA how good those guys are who you see playing on Sundays.
Yes.

Nothing like sitting in the sun on a June afternoon relaxing with a beer while guessing along with batter and manager. You can take it easy while waiting for the action. Ive had quite enough of this worn out Jackie Robinson Day though. Why no Lou Castro Day?
But ice can’t be found everywhere in the world. Today was probably our last day of real snow fall, and the lake should break up in the next 2-4 weeks.
GO Habs
Bump
You need to watch some NHL playoff games. Go Stars!

We have a minor league stadium near here, small, stands almost always full (but not packed, packed, just a comfortable size crowd not large enough to scare kiddies). One of my favorite parts is at the start of the game, when little leaguers from all over take to the field for the National Anthem. And kids don’t have to sit in their seats the whole time - there’s even a grassy hill to roll down and eateries for mom and pop. Friday night home game means fireworks; hard to beat for a pleasant summer day/night out for the family and such an asset to our community:
