I call a great amount of BS on this. She said the child said he was not a boy when he was 3. A 3 year old doesn’t contemplate such things unless they are prodded along.

I Agree. It seems to be the trendy thing to do if you’re a “cool” parent. Nothing but sympathy for the kids.
