French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi on Friday said the European Medicines Agency had conditionally approved its anti-cancer drug Libtayo, the first drug of its kind to be authorized for use in the EU.
The tumor-reducing drug is aimed at patients with the second most common form of skin cancer cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) whose cancer is advanced, and who are not candidates for surgery or radiation therapy. [

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Libtayo in September 2018, while Health Canada gave it the conditional green light earlier this month.

Well, it’s been approved already by the FDA. Don’t know if it’s twenty years old.
I’m guessing the approval is due to Trump successfully implementing the “right to try”.

I wonder if they even have a concept of “right to try”. That would take a free market rather than “social market” as they have by treaty.

"The tumor-reducing drug is aimed at patients with the second most common form of skin cancer cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) whose cancer is advanced, and who are not candidates for surgery or radiation therapy." I can't believe this just fell in my lap. I have stage four squamous cell carcinoma.

HI Windflier so good to see you with us again today, this means you are feeling better little by little good signs!!!

Yep, every day above ground is a good day. Of course, ‘day’, is a nebulous concept for me now, as I generally sleep twelve or more hours at a stretch.
Thanks for the encouragement.
