Gillette is out for me. I bought A Harry’s razor last month and am extremely happy with it. Drop Gillette, it’s overpriced junk made by a woke company.
I hadn’t heard that got woke. I just got a Panasonic shaver and not interested in Gillette products.
However, I still have a fondness for Charmin extra soft toilet tissue.
They are going to be down by my business as soon as I finish what I had already bought. I may purchase a nice straight razor. Since I learned how to do a wicked sharp edge they fascinate me.
Been with Dollar Shave Club for a couple years now. I don’t know their politics but as they are based in california I can only imagine. However it is a very good product at what I consider a reasonable price.
They are just so darn expensive. Buying at Costco makes them a little more reasonable.
I quit Gillette and went to Dollar Shave Club as well, (Clubman for shaving cream). Nonetheless the quality of their overpriced blades are very good (compared to Schick, the horrific Bic, and store brands) and they still have 50%+ of market share. Plus, despite fads in facial hair, shaving isn’t going away. I think the product line fits in well with their other home essentials (laundry soap, toothpaste etc.).
same
And went gay.
It isn’t the grooming business that they should not be in but they need to clean house in their marketing and administrative areas. Their razors specifically have been incredible overpriced for a long time which was problematic enough. I am surprised that they have only dropped sales by 8%.
I buy single-blade disposables from CVS... probably a year’s worth of shaving for around $5.
I just buy a large box of store-brand disposable razors from BJ’s. Lasts me a year or more.
Proud, happy owner of a “Schick” injector razor.
I have boycotted them ever since they pushed gun control many years ago.
Not a total boycott. A few times I have found their products for almost nothing or in the case of a store going out of business plus coupon, I got maybe 50 razors and a single blade with each one for free.
I typically use the razors once and throw the whole thing away. I do save a few for times when the blades are on clearance for almost nothing.
I use a double-edged safety razor with Williams soap when I can get it. Otherwise, I use a cream like Proraso.
I’ve been using Harry’s for years. I hope that they don’t go Woke.
Bic has cranked-up their advertising on local radio.
They know an opportunity when they see one.
If anyone is looking for a quality alternative to Gillette, I’ve been getting quite good results with a Van der Hagen safety razor.
Can’t believe it took as long as it did for me to switch to a safety razor - it is SO much more comfortable and easy to control and made shaving rash a thing of the past.
I haven’t bought anything Gillette, since they attacked my character and my religion and my nation.
I know Ill never buy a Gillette product again.
Get woke, go broke.
We’re not going to put up with your crap.
