A stalled plane is a landed plane... Nope. We were trained that we had to be able to takeoff immediately upon landing. Conditions on the airfield could change and being back in the air could very well be the safest place.
The approach/landing speed in the Prowler gave us 10-20 knots above stall.

I try to stall out over the numbers but then again the small planes are so light the are almost impossible to get to hold onto the ground.

He as discussing small GA piston planes, a Prowler is a large jet airplane.
Some say they are even flown a bit differently.
