From what I've read, Netflix loves it's homicides, suicides, horror movies, blood and gore and overall death culture and are doing their best to serve the dark side.

I find that Netflix displays suggestions based on my viewing history. Someone whose home screens is mostly horror and killing may be because that’s what they watch.
