Lawsuits work, gets the bureaucrat's attention and gets things corrected. This large township in Ocean County, New Jersey added their own requirements to the Firearm Purchase ID, including every two year fingerprinting at gun owner expense and waiting periods up to 18 months. Residents of the People's Republic of Jackson Township thank Alex Roubian and the New Jersey Second Amendment Society for bringing suit against a tyrannical local government where bureaucrats make up the laws as they see fit.

Funny, I can’t find any mention of fingerprints in this...
Constitution of United States of America 1789
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

I bet murderers are fingerprinted less often than this town wants to fingerprint gun owners.

I live in Bricktown. Went for a fire arms application about two years ago. The look I got from the clerk could have frozen molten lava. NJ simply does not like the 2nd. Amendment.
