It looks like the kind of "sculpture" that you can find gracing any ghetto public housing project.

It looks like the kind of "sculpture" that you can find gracing any ghetto public housing project. It is also the type of "beautification" you get whenever some (Democrat controlled) city in Iowa discovers about $60,000 under the sofa cushions. Such money is never used to fix the potholes in the streets or hire an extra cop to deal with the hourly shoplifters at Walmart.
After further contemplation, the subject of the article makes for ugly sculpture but would be a comparatively attractive base for a railroad coaling tower.

When local governments try to do art they almost invariably botch the job. Probably because they hire someones neer do well brother in law to do the deed.

Might be useful to make 4 swing sets for the kids. Would need a bit of padding on the uprights.

We have a "sculpture" at a park not far from us. It is a bunch of rocks, held together with wire. It is ugly as ----.
I would like to point out that this particular thing in the picture, looks, not only ugly, but, completely out of step with the surrounding architecture, which is lovely, really.
