If they can cross intergalactic distances and are scared off by our shooting at them they either are as dumb as the aliens in the 1960s series UFO or as dumb and as incompetent as Invader Zim!

Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about where we were headed and offered to help. But instead, we, or at least some of us, interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after.
He was talking about AGW, so, no, I’ll have to disagree about the article.
I tend to agree with you on this. But heck, I just post some things that are interesting. Whether I believe them or not.

The closest the gubmint has come to admitting crash retrieval was the press release from Roswell. It was of course denied, and the originals destroyed.

Yup. There will NEVER be any real and actual disclosure. I did say NEVER. And I will stand by that.

The only release of information has been these fighter plane data files; same thing happened with the Belgian triangles. It makes perfect sense that gov'ts wouldn't stir the pot, since UFOs are by defnition unidentified. The existence (even possible existence) of unknown craft that we can't do anything about undermines supporting myths.

I wholeheartedly agree, and my apologies if I'd already done that. It makes sense, too -- nothing undermines support for a gov't faster than confrontation with something beyond its capacity to deal with it.
