The two greatest enemies of radical Islam were the Shah of Iran and Saddam Hussein.
Jimmy Carter did the Islamists a big favor by removing the Shah. And then George W. Bush did the Islamists a big favor by removing Saddam.
Both Carter and Bush are decent guys, I guess. But we will pay for their stupidity for generations.
I wouldn’t call telling lies about Israel “decent”.
