I think it should be solid black, stem to stern..............ominous looking. Yeah...sort of like the flat black they use for the B-52 bombers.
I kinda like the new AF1 color scheme, but I'm still more partial to the existing scheme, which has been around since I was in grade school.

When Hugh Hefner had “Big Bunny” his DC9 painted jet black it had to be OKed by the FAA. No one had done it on a commercial type aircraft before and it was thought that the extra expansion on the upper part of the fuselage might cause undo stress.
