The first one was incredibly stupid and this one looks even stupider.

The first one was a political correctness indoctrination. It opens with the MIB releasing Mexicans from the evil border patrol, then during the testing to join MIB, Will Smith shoots a ten year old white girl in the head, cause she had no business in the ghetto in the middle of the night with Quantum Physics books.

Yeah - MiB, like the Addams Family movies were both directed by Barry Sonnenfield and were both early “woke” movies.

To be fair regarding the first film, K and Z actually saved a border patrol agent from the main guy they were targeting, Mikey, who was a literal illegal alien (and who was not treated sympathetically, and if anything, they specifically added in Mikey trying to kill the border patrol agent specifically to avoid Mikey being slightly sympathetic), and it’s also implied that Zed was deeply considering failing James for that stunt and only let him on because K requested it. Plus, it does have a very good slam against the New York Times at one point.

As far as the MIBI, eh, not fond of the woke elements from what I heard. If there’s any silver lining, though, they did tackle Middle Eastern terrorism and had the main alien be a Middle Eastern terrorist, so it at least condemns that bit (and make no mistake, I’ve seen plenty of woke materials that if anything try to paint the Middle Eastern terrorists as sympathetic, heck, anyone who’s muslim for that matter.).
