Interesting! Broad and Washington is the site of current day "Lincoln Square", named after the old railroad shed where Lincoln's body laid in rest after his assassination. Just walked through there today. How many times I passed that site going and coming from McDonalds or the Academy of Music in the 30+ years I lived up there. Never knew what had taken place there.

How many times I passed that site going and coming from McDonaldsY'know, they tore that McDonalds down and replaced it with... wait for it... a McDonalds. The old abandoned Ridgeway Library is now High School For Creative & Performing Arts. Neighborhood has come a long way.
