I went on a low carb diet about a year ago. I have reduced my carb intake to 20grams of net carbs or lower. Within 6 months of this diet My Dr. Took me off of injectable insulin and later she took me off all of my diabetic medication. I control my diabetes by diet alone. While I agree completely reversing the effects takes time, benefits can be seen quickly. Also, I understand that this life style change may not work for everyone but I thank God for helping me find one that works for me!
