I am a football fan, and I appreciate it when I see a player score a touchdown, and they act like they have done it before.
I was watching a play with the team I follow last year, and the player on my team ran a kickoff back for a touchdown, and when he got five yards from the end zone, he slowed up, began walking, and looking around high fiving.
That made me, as a fan, pretty hot. I have no doubt the coach didn’t appreciate it either, even with the excellent job on the return.
I respected Muhammed Ali’s ability, and he could take a shot better than people gave him credit for, but I never liked his showboating. Never. In retrospect, looking back, I should have been pulling for Joe Frazier in those three fights. But I was a front runner back then...

Awhile back the sports radio guys were talking about ways to make baseball more popular with the younger crowd. One of the ideas discussed was doing like the NBA does (I guess?) - using twitter and other social media for the players to trash-talk opposing players and teams!

Yup. It’s WWF/WWE. Pretty soon we will have gravely voice guys with microphones taunting the other team for 30 minutes before the game. It’s Vince McMahon’s fault. (not sarcasm)
