The website is definitely leftist, calls him a hero and a martyr, recites basically all the far left talking points, I posted the link because it is one of a couple that have verbatim copies of his manifesto. Also has a claim from someone who recognized him from a meeting at a previous Antifa event. Interesting look at how they think, they actually seem to believe this tripe...
One interesting note, at one point he claims to be Antifa, and later says he is affiliated with no group...

I’ve seen your tag line before, and more than a couple of times. But I have another thought...
It’s never a bad idea to know ones adversary. So now and then I do read their screeds, knowing it is lies and delusional propaganda and knowing they won’t change my mind one whit. I’ve been known to take a look at Democratic Underground now and then, Huffington Post, Salon...just to name a couple.
It helps to know how they think and what they say, as opposed to only checking out the views from MY side of the fence, going around with the political blinders firmly attached.
Even for them, defending Antifa is probably a bridge too far.
