Was anyone passing you? While living in Switzerland we visited Germany often, enjoyed the autobahn though my wife was unhappy when I hit 150 mph (kids thought it was great), though that was just for a very short time. Daylight, wide open roads with lots of clear road ahead. Routinely drove about 100-120 mph, and would get passed by folks appearing to be going 140-160 mph.

No, that particular section of Autobahn is probably one of the worst. Lots of slow down sections, lots of construction and a decent amount of traffic.
I was in a Ford Fiesta. Yes, a Fiesta. But it was a Fiesta ST. This is a 210hp Turbo Motor with a tuned suspension in a 2700lb roller skate. It was a blast to drive and got up to 210kph pretty quick. It still had more as well but traffic was limiting. It isn’t quite as fast as my Acura(300hp) but it was just plain fun to drive.
