I know he’s an oddball but the man can flat out act. Here’s a fantastic scene from Collateral where Micheal Mann puts you in LA for the night following an elite, sociopath assassin played in extraordinary fashion by Cruise. Get to a theater and see it if you haven’t. Well, it came out in 2004 so you better find another way.

Im not a fan of Tom Cruise, but by all accounts, he is a very decent human being.
I just dont like that he plays a brand on screen. When he plays a part, they should just call his character, Tom Cruise.
I’m a big Cruise fan too. The MI movies were great (especially the last one) but Collateral was a great movie that is seriously underrated. I just watched it again last week and I can’t recommend it enough! I know he’s not popular here but one of the best actors of his generation!
