Wow!

Excellent visual of why it’s not wise to assume everything in nature is safe, especially assuming it’s dead.

I think I’d have passed out!

Ripped.

Off.

Completely.

Tossed about 40 feet...

Little girl kinda lucky....could have been thrown into air then trampled or gored to death. If they show this video at yellowstone...sure there would be daredevils wanting to thrown...look at pamplona.

Yes, that would be a terrifying moment. I suppose there's no easy solution to stupidity, but in Yellowstone and many other parks the congestion around "wildlife" of various species is significant. In many cases violating traffic as well as don't pet the wildlife rules. Can't control stupidity, but can control stupid and dangerous actions. Like they did with bear feeding in many parks.

Wow, my youngest daughter and I went through there a couple of weeks ago. We didn’t see nearly as much wildlife as you did.

Story of my life. A day late and a dollar short.

Still, we got to see several things that have been on my list for decades.

We went in via Livingston, the north entrance.
Loads less tourista’s that way.
Funniest thing was when we were stopped as there was a forest ranger standing on the side of the road protecting a small baby bear in a tree from folks wanting to take selfies.
Mom obviously was nearby and wasn’t in the mood for any guff.

Lucky nobody got hurt.

We went in the west entrance, out the south, spent the night in a hotel, back in the south, and out the northeast.

That northeast exit was one of the most dramatic drives I’ve ever taken.

We live in S.E. Florida.
Went in an RV and crossed the rivers at Paducah Ky.
Rivers ALL over their banks and it only got worse.
Then each night while in Montana it was like 38 or 3 degrees.
In the mountains around us each night they got more snow and the day we left it snowed a foot.
We wanted to go up to Kalispel and back to Glacier but that night it snowed three feet there.
On the way back we went to Saint Louis and took the ride to the top of the arch.
Pretty cool.
