Doubtful... reality is, they raised their rates at the same time the were losing much of their Disney content which they had been exclusive for a lot of it.

The price increase, and less and less compelling content, make netflix less and less valuable.

With more streaming competitors vying for content, netflix is no longer the deal it once was.. and much of the content that used to be worth viewing on it is gone, to other streamers.

Much of their unique content is, frankly CRAP, with or without the SJW, leftist stuff....

About the only stuff it claims “exclusivity” to in the states, that is any good, is mostly stuff produced and broadcast in foreign nations, that they have bought exclusive rights in the states too, but NETFLIX has nothing to actually do with its production.

Some of their original series are good, some are not.

I don’t like having to wait a year or longer after a 6 to 13 episode series for the next season. By the start of the next season, I have completely forgotten what the previous season was about.

Goes to show you the Obamas were late again to the tard party.

That clan doesn’t have the mental capacity to figure it out.

You mean that people were missing the Disney content and not rushing out to watch the unfunny “Nanette”?

Not really true. Most all of the Disney content is still on Netflix. Disney won't have their streaming service until next year. Most all of their original content is for the US, not foreign, but there is some foreign, such as Roma. After all, it is a global company. And Stranger Things is a huge hit.

I do agree the price increase is the cause and after all, there are limits. It is not possible for the subscription base to go higher every quarter forever. People are very price sensitive, but overall they will receive more revenue with a bit less subscribers at the higher rate.

I have noticed only one or two shows that are SJW. There is a climate doc which I avoid. Obama's new show streams in August for the first time, but its description seems hardly SJW. So we will see.

Most pubs do see trouble for Netflix down the road since their production costs are through the roof.
