If the Federal prosecutors are serious about going forward, they can. However given the Department of Justice’s sorry track record investigating and prosecuting the perpetuators of the plot to rig a Presidential election, it is highly doubtful that they will pursue this case. Comey, Brennan, Lynch, Clapper and the rest remain free, obnoxious and grinning. Sure the wealthy, powerful predators are grinning as well.
Sure the “investigation” will go on. {wink wink, nudge nudge} Just like the “investigation” into Hillary’s email, a cover story and wrap-up must be generated. But the possibility of convictions against any of the real power players died with Epstein. That was power on display. I trust the investigative team and potential witnesses got the message, it seemed pretty clear even from the sidelines.
