In Blue Seattle, Trump Supporters are Starting to Come out of Hiding
Seattle Times ^ | August 16, 2019 | Danny Westneat

When word got out during the last presidential election that Seattle developer Martin Selig would be supporting Donald Trump, the blowback from our liberal town, he said, was “stunning.”

Very interesting article, even for an obviously lefty writer. Best part of article:

In Washington state, where his approval rating is 28 points underwater, Trump has still racked up far more donations, big and small, than any of the Democratic candidates — in fact more than the top six Democrats combined.

FU Leftists!

They just cannot abide anyone having an opinion other than their own.

It is distinctly un-American.

You never know how "tolerant" the Left actually is, until you don't conform to their every desire.

The interesting point is that these N.W. states, like Washington and Oregon, are not really blue. It’s the large metropolitan areas, such as Seattle and Portland, that are.

Seattle specifically is King County which determines outcomes of all state wide elections

I think Seattle citizens sick and tired of the homeless problem is going to start turning Seattle from “solid Blue.”

In the early 2000s I worked in the graphics dept of an investment bank in Manhattan.

It was 40 liberals, me and one libertarian :)

We argued NON STOP but at the end of some shifts, we’d sign out and go for drinks or to hear a band or go to a club and have a great time.

Yeah they were left but they weren’t THIS kind of left.

And when I got sick, they were VERY generous to me with money and gifts.

That couldn’t happen today.

But then, this whole trannie nonsense and cisgender crap wasn’t around yet.

And other insanity that has mostly broken out over the last decade or so.

I have been commenting on the Times website for years and the comments are closed down every time things start going in a direction they do not like. Sometimes the next day the comments will be back with all the conservative points of view carefully edited out. But usually they just delete them all and let them start up again. I think because they are too lazy to read through them individually.

There a lot of Trump supporters in Washington state. There were more than 16,000 at Trump’s Lynden rally in 2016. Lynden is in northern Washington up by the Canadian border.

A couple months later in 2016 there was a rally in Everett Washington. Supporters lined up more ten blocks or so to attend. Everett is about 30 miles north of Seattle.

There were people from Seattle at both these rallies but Washington state Trump supporters are vastly out numbered in Seattle proper. The Seattle voters are the ones who turn the state blue.

Seattle is so lefty that even the total libtard Bezos is moving large chunks of Amazon across the lake to Bellevue which has a much better business climate. Strange but true, part of what makes Bellevue more conservative is the number of Chinese and Russian entrepreneurs who have settled there.

They own real estate and small businesses and they like to have good police and no homeless camps.

And some smaller towns but leftists tend to cluster, you know, like roaches and RATS.

From their point of view it would be agonizing torture to read the truth. Too many of them already have splody heads.

Well, now Trump, of all candidates, has nearly three times as many donations from Washington state as Bernie Sanders does. The Vermont senator has 8,080 itemized donations here, while Trump has the most ever recorded at this point in an election, by any candidate in either party, 21,657.

The article not so subtly doxes *all* of the Trump supporters by conveniently providing a link to every one of those 21,657 people. These are people donating as little as $15 dollars. And note there is no such convenient link provided for the Sanders supporters.

Bastards. The writers want Trump supporters terrorized.

Yes, and King County WA controls the outcome of elections with the usual democrat tactic of wait and see how many ballots are needed.

The Elections Director Dean Logan got caught red-handed in vote fraud in the 2004 gubernatorial race between Christine Gregoire (D) and Dino Rossi (R). But it didn’t matter because a lavendar judge with male body parts and an earring plugged into his loving soft lobe decided that the fraudulent votes that came out of the woodwork to overturn Rossi’s first two winning recounts were not ‘traceable’ to which candidate they went for. In other words, the fraudulent votes that put Gregoire over the top cound have been somehow Rossi votes.

Logan was forced to resign but what happened to him? He got a promotion to go to LA County in California.
