I remember being on that beach when they had a Harrier jet come from above, stop off the beach, turn around and fly off kicking in the afterburner. It was frikkin awesome.

We went for several years when the kids were little,

good times but this just didn’t turn out to be

the year to restart the tradition,

now that they are all grown but

my daughter and her husband own

a condo off of Montrose near the lake,

maybe next year...
