Catholic parish allows 1st-graders to sign up as ‘gender neutral’ for Communion class
LifeSiteNews ^ | 08/22/2019 | Madeleine Jacob

When LifeSiteNews initially called Good Shepherd Parish, the employee who answered the phone forwarded the call to the voicemail of the pastor. A second parish employee then told LifeSiteNews that no one was available to comment. Two diocesan employees also told LifeSiteNews no one was available.

Fresno bishop Joseph Brennan’s secretary told LifeSiteNews that Thursday is the bishop’s day off. “I will forward your message and he can respond to you at his earliest convenience,” she told LifeSiteNews via email.

When Salvador Monzon, a member of the parish, first learned about this, “I told myself there is no way this can be true,” he told LifeSiteNews.

Monzon decided to register his daughter for a confirmation class to see if the “gender neutral” option was there.

“I went on the website, and sure enough, there it was. Oh, I could not believe this, and I was angered by it, and rightly so,” he said.

Monzon contacted the parish and spoke with a catechetical director to express his concerns and was told that nothing would change.

“She said that there was nothing they can do about it and it was going to stay. And, of course, I tried to explain what the Church’s teaching is on the issue, but she would not have any of it.”

Official Catholic teaching is that God 'creates the human person as “male and female.”', but what's a little old fashioned heresy in this day and age?

The Catholic church has devolved into a business. And thier business is souls in the pews. The would sale or discard any part of the bible for a few dollars. That is exactly what they have done here.

If a first grader is old enough or mature enough to choose his or her sex, then it would follow that they are old enough and mature enough to have sex.

This is child abuse.

“Bishop Ochoa said the priest’s intervention in the political process is not permitted under section 501 of the Internal Revenue code.”

Phooey.
The government’s intervention in the religious process and natural law is not permitted under the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

No wonder the churches are emptying out.

Too many people blindly use tools on the internet to accomplish membership or sign in’s.

This will turn out to be Silicon Valley and the big players trying to trick and force us into perversion.

Parts of the Catholic Church have devolved inot a business. Not "The Catholic Church."

Oh, and note this: the article says "When LifeSiteNews contacted the parish and diocese for comment about the sign-up form, the “gender neutral” option was suddenly removed."

So score one for the sensus fidelium --- the sense of the faithful. Keeep blowing the whistle andayou can make the clerico-deviants back down: because they're a bunch of weak-minded cowards, after all.

The majority of the Apostles (11 out of 12) either betrayed, denied or abandoned the Lord Jesus over one 24-hour period when push came to shove. That didn't make the Church itself illegitimate.

It did show that fidelity would always be found in the midst of infidelity; and that doing the right thing would always be a struggle; and that Christ can restore fallen disciples, accept their sincere repentance and cause these weaklings to stand again.

It's the stuff of prophecy; it's our history and our destiny.

I stand with the Church because of the fidelity of My Lord.

I still don’t get why they are willingly giving money to that racket.

16th century Europeans were keener on the scam.

Bingo. That’s the agenda.

Shouldn’t they have the 57 genders or the 11,467 genders or whatever Barack and Michelle have it up to now?

Only 3 options? Why that’s not very gender-bender inclusive!!

They should have voting rights too.
