Former President Barack Obama’s possible new mansion on Martha’s Vineyard could be totally underwater by the year 2100, according to a climate change model relying on government data.

The Obamas are reportedly in the process of buying the island property, which was originally listed at listed at $14,850,000, from Boston Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck. Though the deal has yet to be finalized, both TMZ and the Boston Herald have reported that the Obamas are in escrow.

Climate Central, a research group funded by the government during the Obama administration, projects the Obamas’ possible new mansion to be well underwater in its “Extreme Scenario 2100” model. […]

Climate Central’s less pessimistic models still paint bleak pictures for the future of Obama’s potential new property.

The research group’s “Unchecked pollution” model shows the waterline approaching where the house would be on the map. Even the “Sharp carbon cuts” model shows the waterline surpassing the private beach, encroaching into the tree line.

The National Science Foundation (NSF), a federal agency, provided grants to Climate Central in 2009 and 2014, prompting criticism from Republican lawmakers at the time. …

So it sounds like The Won is not concerned about leaving a drowned prime piece of property to his posterity, whatever that will consist of; thus he acknowledges that “global warming” is a hoax.

It’s easy to know a person’s beliefs by watching what they do.

OK but how LONG before it’s even in a foot of water, which makes it worthless??

10 years?

This man spent millions upon millions on property that won’t be good in TEN years?!!?!?

I’m sure msm is all over this asking the hard questions that no one else will.

Obama: “Yeah, I built a sea wall and it destroys the view — it looks like your in prison surrounded by walls. HAHAHA Actually I got the contractor from the Trump administration that builds the walls on the Mexico border for a good price and there certainly won’t be any damn illegals coming over wanting asylum. HAHAHA”

It’s really no surprise here. Obama and his company were phonies in every respect from the beginning.

If he were truly into the climate and environment, with all his money, he would buy a great peace of land, and build a home that was off the grid as much as possible.

What a wonderful message that would be to all of us.

I have friends who have homes, that are extremely efficient and about 80% off the grid at all times, and that can be completely off the grid for several days if possible.

Wells are powered by solar pumps with back up batteries. Solar pump augment electricity to the house, and the homes are ultra insulated.

Do you really need 12000 sq foot home for two people?

The Obama house is an embarrassement.

No skin off his nose. It isn’t as if he is using his money, anyway.

I’m sure he will have no problem building a seawall around his property. He won’t wont even have to go through the federal permitting process. Their only concern is if some evil corporation wants to construct windmills out in the sea in front of their new digs...

The argument about ocean rises so ridiculous that it’s not even worth laughing at

First of all all of the worlds oceans are connected every single one

So here’s a math problem and I’ve already done it several times

Calculate the surface area of the planets oceans and then calculate if it all went up one edge how much water that would have to be

A lot? :)

I remember looking up how many gallons of water were in all of the oceans and laughing at the number because I didn’t recognize it. i.e., along the lines of millions or billions but a term I never heard of before.

That’s a lot.

Well, if he buys it he’s a hypocrite. In fact, any liberal who believes in climate change and buys, or even still owns beachfront property is a hypocrite. What that means is STFU about climate change!

Hey, ocean flooding Obama’s property could be a real problem in the year 12241 AD.

The models that when you run actual climate data in them up to 1979, can’t match what the weather actually was tbe next 40 years? Grossly incorrect overestimating warming? Those models?
